Despite trying to track down as many resources as I could find over the past year, somehow I missed this incredibly resource-rich initiative from Northeastern University in Boston.
With leaders that have decades of experience in this space, the Games for Life team studies and crafts games and experiences specifically designed to resonate with players across their entire lifespan.
There is plenty of reading to do from reports, articles, blog posts, and research papers. Something I've not seen elsewhere is practical information advising game designers and developers on creating age-friendly games.
Do check through the site for the wealth of resources. I've only scratched the surface so far, and believe there'll be more to come.
